Marion has gone a perfect 10-0 against Sodus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Black Knights will challenge the Spartans at 6:15 p.m. Marion will be strutting in after a victory while Sodus will be coming in after a defeat.

While Marion's win against Palmyra-Macedon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Red Raiders 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Black Knights in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Sodus came up short against Lyons on Friday, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-16, 25-4.

Sodus' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Marion took their win against Sodus when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Black Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
