Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Lila Hilde and Sofia Winters Lead Loveland Classical to Victory + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Loveland Classical, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the William Smith Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Loveland Classical was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-4.

Loveland Classical was led to victory by Sofia Winters and Lila Hilde. Winters had three digs and three aces, while Hilde had ten assists and eight aces. The dominant performance also gave Hilde a new career-high in hitting percentage (80%).

They weren't the only good servers: Loveland Classical was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Loveland Classical pushed their record up to 6-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for William Smith, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
