Basketball Recap: North East Takes a Loss

North East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 62-53 to the North Harford Hawks. The match was a 28-28 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

DEMETRIOUS DENSMORE continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Harford, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 steals. DENSMORE is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. NICK CHANEY was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

North East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for North Harford, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

North East has already played their next contest (against Rising Sun), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Harford and Fallston will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
