Basketball Recap: Cedar Finds Home Court Redemption Against Crimson Cliffs

There's no place like home for Cedar, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-41 victory over the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-62 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Crimson Cliffs lost, don't look at Coco Korella. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Korella a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Zee Brinagh, who posted 11 points.

Cedar's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Crimson Cliffs, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

When Cedar and Crimson Cliffs next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Cedar will try to stop Snow Canyon's 20-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Crimson Cliffs will square off against Desert Hills and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
