Meadowdale won the last time they faced Thurgood Marshall and Janiyah Middlebrook did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lions were the clear victors by a 61-41 margin over the Cougars on Thursday thanks in part to Middlebrook, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 13 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 16 times she's played.

Meadowdale's record is now 3-1. As for Thurgood Marshall, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Meadowdale will face off against rival Stivers School for the Arts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Thurgood Marshall is set to take on their familiar foe Dunbar at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
