Baseball Game Preview: West-Oak Warriors vs. Walhalla Razorbacks

For the second straight game, West-Oak will face off against Walhalla. The Warriors will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Razorbacks at 6:30 p.m. West-Oak hasn't scored more than a single run for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

West-Oak fell victim to Walhalla and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 13-0 to the Razorbacks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Razorbacks since March 26, 2024.

For Walhalla's part, JUSTIN LUSK was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those three hits gave LUSK a new career-high. Another player making a difference was WESTON HARDIN, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Walhalla always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Walhalla has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for West-Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
