Volleyball Recap: Marquette Catholic Takes Down East Alton-Wood River in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Marquette Catholic walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the East Alton-Wood River Oilers on Monday. The Explorers haven't had any issues with the Oilers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Among those leading the charge was Brooke Keller, who had 15 assists and five digs. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September.

Marquette Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 20-15. As for East Alton-Wood River, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-30-1.

Looking ahead, Marquette Catholic will challenge Red Bud at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Alton-Wood River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
