Soccer Game Preview: Vallivue vs. Nampa

The Vallivue Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Nampa Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vallivue is coming into the match hot, having won their last 12 games.

Vallivue's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Columbia. Vallivue might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Nampa walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Vikings 2-1 on Thursday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Nampa were the better team in the second half.

Kevin Rosas was the driving force of Nampa's attack as he scored both of Nampa's goals, bringing his season total up to seven goals.

Nampa now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Vallivue, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1.

Vallivue was able to grind out a solid win over Nampa when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 2-0. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
