Basketball Recap: Shadow Ridge Comes Up Short

Shadow Ridge was the 63-21 winner over Basic when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Shadow Ridge Mustangs fell just short of the Basic Wolves by a score of 49-46 on Saturday.

Shadow Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Basic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Shadow Ridge and Virgin Valley will round out the year against one another at at 2:20 p.m. on Monday. As for Basic, they will take on Desert Oasis at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Basic is facing Desert Oasis at the right time seeing as Desert Oasis is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
