 After losing to Pardeeville the last time they met, Poynette decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Poynette Pumas had just enough and edged the Pardeeville Bulldogs out  2-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Poynette.
  Hunter Webster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Poynette saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Justin Wells, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double.
 Poynette's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Pardeeville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poynette will stay at home for another  game and welcome Lakeside Lutheran at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lakeside Lutheran's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8  runs per game  this season, so Poynette's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pardeeville, they will be playing at home against Randolph at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Pardeeville is facing Randolph at the right time seeing as Randolph is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
