After losing to Prairie du Chien the last time they met, Belmont decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Braves came out on top against the Blackhawks by a score of 9-5 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Belmont's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Prairie du Chien, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Belmont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-5 victory against Lancaster on the 12th. As for Prairie du Chien, they will take on La Crosse Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
