Basketball Recap: Des Moines Christian Find Success

It was a proper cat-fight when Des Moines Christian challenged Earlham on Friday. The Des Moines Christian Lions secured a 62-58 W over the Earlham Cardinals. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Des Moines Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Earlham, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Des Moines Christian will host Winterset at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Earlham, they will challenge Prairie City-Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Earlham knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Prairie City-Monroe likes a good challenge.
