Football Recap: King City Wildkats vs. Princeton Tigers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King City). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Princeton Tigers on Friday, sneaking past 64-62. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildkats.
Leading King City to victory were Graham Medsker and Landon Carlson. Medsker rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry, while Carlson rushed for 183 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Medsker is now averaging an impressive 129.5 rushing yards per game.
King City's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Cooper Mooney and Carter Heinrich.
