Knox County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-6 to the Putnam County Midgets. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Knox County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. Putnam County has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knox County will welcome Monroe City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Putnam County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against South Shelby at 5:00 p.m.
