Flag Football Recap: Druid Hills Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Druid Hills has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chamblee Bulldogs. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Druid Hills' loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Chamblee, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Druid Hills will head out to challenge Stockbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so the Red Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chamblee, they will venture away from home to take on Alpharetta at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 10.5, the Raiders 13.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
