Football Recap: Sussex Central Falls to Essex in First Game of Season

Sussex Central kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Essex Trojans, falling 52-30. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Coming up, Sussex Central will venture away from home to take on Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Essex, they will welcome Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
