After losing to Baboquivari the last time they met, Empire decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ravens enjoyed a cozy 65-50 win over the Warriors on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ravens.

Isaac Buchanan was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 46% from the field en route to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Desmond Davidson, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 15 points and five assists.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Empire was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Baboquivari only racked up seven.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyler Baptisto, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Ezekiel Hendricks was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Empire's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Baboquivari, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Empire will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against The Gregory School at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Baboquivari, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-47 win against San Simon on the 25th.
