Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-4 to the Millsap Bulldogs.

Nathan Acosta was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run. That hit was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Adan Cerda, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Millsap, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Polytechnic will challenge UME Preparatory Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Millsap, they will take on Santo at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
