Soccer Recap: St. Benedict at Auburndale Comes Up Short

If St. Benedict at Auburndale was riding high fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Trinity Christian Academy on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the St. George's Gryphons on Thursday, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against St. George's this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on April 9th.

St. Benedict at Auburndale's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for St. George's, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Benedict at Auburndale nor St. George's have any future games scheduled.
