Football Recap: North Comes Up Short

The matchup between North and Garfield Heights on Friday hardly resembled the 14-12 effort from their previous meeting. The Rangers took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 48-17. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

North's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Garfield Heights, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

North and Garfield Heights will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rangers are set to square off against their familiar foe Kenston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Garfield Heights will challenge rival Brush at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
