Scott posted their closest victory since August 29th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Dighton Hornets. The victory continues a trend for the Beavers in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

Leading Scott to victory were Crissa Irvin and Peyton Gentry. Irvin had 11 digs, while Gentry had 12 kills and 11 digs. That's the most kills Gentry has posted over her last ten matches.
