Gilford is 8-1 against Winnisquam since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles will challenge the Bears at 5:45 p.m.

Gilford is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Kingswood, who was ranked 13th at the time (Gilford was ranked 17th). The Golden Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Saturday. That makes it the first time this season the Golden Eagles have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Winnisquam entered their tilt with Fall Mountain on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1.

Gilford's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Winnisquam, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Gilford was able to grind out a solid win over Winnisquam in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
