Baseball Recap: Slater Takes a Loss

Slater managed to slip by New Franklin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 8-1 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Slater saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristen Klasing, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Slater now has a losing record of 4-5. As for New Franklin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Coming up, Slater will take on Higbee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Franklin, they will square off against Pilot Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
