Football Recap: Central Crossing Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Central Crossing extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 16 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Lincoln Lions. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Lions are ranked 42nd).

As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Trey Wilson had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Those 126 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jack Baker, who picked up 58 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Central Crossing wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 63-0 defeat against Pickerington North on the 3rd. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-14 win against New Albany on the 3rd.
