Basketball Game Preview: Berea-Midpark Titans vs. Lorain Titans

Berea-Midpark will head out to challenge Lorain at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Berea-Midpark will be strutting in after a victory while Lorain will be coming in after a loss.

Berea-Midpark is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Shaw: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Titans blew the Cardinals out of the water with a 66-12 final score. The Titans pushed the score to 56-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals had no chance of recovering from.

Berea-Midpark relied on the efforts of Emma Arnold, who shot 54% from the field en route to 16 points in addition to five assists and five steals, and Lilly Jones, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Miya Walker was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Lorain lost to Medina at home by a 49-34 margin on Tuesday.

Berea-Midpark pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 33.5 points thus far. As for Lorain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
