Baseball Recap: Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Wins Going Away Against Minneota

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton barely beat Minneota the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 10-3 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton got a massive performance out of Chase Christianson, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was Christianson's first of the season. Eli Determan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Minneota, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Murray County Central at 4:30 p.m. As for Minneota, they will challenge Ortonville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
