While Crescent has struggled on the road with three straight losses , that wasn't the case on Friday thanks to Philip Deveaux. The Tigers skirted past the Walhalla Razorbacks 51-49 with plenty of help from Deveaux, who almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds. He has become a key player for Crescent: the team is 8-2 when he posts at least 15 points, but 2-5 otherwise.

Despite the loss, Walhalla still got an impressive performance from Jack Williams, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 19 points and six boards. The game was Williams' fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Jacob Wise was another key player, putting up seven points and five assists.

Crescent's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Walhalla, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Crescent didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-45 defeat against West-Oak on the 13th. As for Walhalla, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-50 loss against Pendleton on the 13th.
