Baseball Recap: Proctor Comes Up Short

Proctor lost against Mt. St. Joseph Academy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Phantoms fell 7-2 to the Green Wave.

Proctor saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Cannucci, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Cannucci is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Proctor's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

While Proctor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
