Volleyball Recap: Lagrange Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against St. Mary's Academy on Thursday, LaGrange Academy came back down to earth. LaGrange Academy came up short against the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to LaGrange Academy's undefeated start to the season.

While LaGrange Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into St. Anne-Pacelli's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-20.

Having lost for the first time this season, LaGrange Academy fell to 2-1. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaGrange Academy will host Oak Mountain Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be LaGrange Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will welcome Smiths Station at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
