Baseball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Columbus was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 11-1 to the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines.

Columbus' defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-18-1. As for Dike-New Hartford, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat Columbus by a score of 7-3 later that day.
