There's no place like home for Saint Andrew, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Benjamin Buccaneers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Scots in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won five in a row.

Saint Andrew's was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 22-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Luiza Queiroz paced Saint Andrew's offense, picking up 25 kills. Queiroz got some help from Kiersten Rodholm and her 26 assists. Queiroz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Madelynn Ortlieb, each putting up four.

Despite the loss, Benjamin still got an impressive performance from Londyn Clark, who had ten digs and one assist.

Saint Andrew's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Benjamin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Saint Andrew's will square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Scots are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Benjamin, they will be playing at home against North Broward Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
