Volleyball Game Preview: West Carrollton Pirates vs. Sidney Yellowjackets

West Carrollton hasn't had much luck against Sidney recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pirates will head out to face off against the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m.

West Carrollton came up short against Piqua on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Sidney had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Thunderbolts.

Sidney got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 30-32, 25-23, 23-25, 16-14.

West Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Sidney, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

West Carrollton might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Sidney in their previous meeting back in August. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
