The Tinora Rams will take on the Patrick Henry Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Tinora barely beat Antwerp the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams never let the Archers get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Monday. The Rams not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17th (when they won 14-0).
Zoe Billings was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Billings was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one double and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

In other batting news, Karly Carpenter and Lexie Baldwin did most of the damage at the plate: Carpenter went 2-for-5 with one triple and two RBI, while Baldwin went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Those three hits gave Baldwin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Spangler, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Tinora kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 8-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Patrick Henry entered their tilt with Arcadia on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Redskins 18-8. Considering the Patriots have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Elisiana Wyandt was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, five runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Summer James, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Tinora's record is now 8-16. As for Patrick Henry, their record now sits at 15-6.
Everything went Tinora's way against Patrick Henry in their previous meeting back in April, as Tinora made off with a 13-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
