Baseball Recap: Luther Takes a Loss

Luther started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Dibble. They fell just short of the Demons by a score of 4-2 on Thursday.

Luther saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aden Henke, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Luther has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Dibble, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-5.

While Luther had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
