Basketball Recap: Remington Skates Past Sedgwick with Ease

Remington waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Sedgwick Cardinals, posting a 43-16 victory. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Sedgwick's loss came despite strong showings from Gaby Petersen and Logan Budde. Petersen posted five points and six rebounds, while Budde put up eight points and seven boards. What's more, Petersen posted two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Remington's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Sedgwick, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Remington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-32 loss against Moundridge on the 21st. As for Sedgwick, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-38 defeat against Central Christian Academy on the 20th.
