Volleyball Recap: Jasper Takes Down Vincennes Lincoln in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jasper walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Vincennes Lincoln Alices on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Alices: they've now won seven in a row.

Jasper's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caroline Schipp led the charge by getting 12 digs. Those 12 digs gave Schipp a new career-high.

Hayden Limbach and Presley Davis certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Limbach had 14 digs and two assists, while Davis had 14 digs.

Jasper's win bumped their record up to 23-11. As for Vincennes Lincoln, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-13.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Jasper and Greensburg will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vincennes Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
