While San Dimas put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Cabrillo. The San Dimas Saints were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Cabrillo Conquistadores. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Isabella Martinez looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Tiffany Villegas was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidyn Baeza, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
San Dimas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in four consecutive games.
San Dimas now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Cabrillo, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
Looking ahead, San Dimas will face off against St. Lucy's at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cabrillo, they will take on Santa Fe in a tournament on Saturday. Cabrillo's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Saturday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.
