Soccer Recap: Chapel Field Christian Comes Up Short

Chapel Field Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Monticello Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Monticello this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Chapel Field Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Monticello, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.

Chapel Field Christian will square off against Tri-Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Monticello, they will take on Beacon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give Monticello their first taste of in-conference action this season.
