Volleyball Game Preview: Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders vs. Seaforth Hawks

The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders will face off against the Seaforth Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Cardinal Gibbons came up short against Millbrook last Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Seaforth, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Orange on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-18.

Seaforth's win came from a few key players Cardinal Gibbons will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kleber Corzo, who had 17 assists and seven digs. That's the most digs he has posted since back in March.

Seaforth was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matches.

Seaforth's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
