Football Recap: Kirk Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 32 points the game before, Kirk Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were beaten by the Tri-County Academy Rebels 55-6. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Rebels are ranked 60th).

Kirk Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Tri-County Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Kirk Academy will take on St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders are facing the Fighting Irish at the right time seeing as the Fighting Irish are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tri-County Academy, they will face off against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
