Genoa Area had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They strolled past the Eastwood Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 42-27. 42 seems to be a good number for the Comets as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Genoa Area's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Eastwood, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.
