Soccer Recap: Huntingdon Triumphs

Huntingdon proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Forest Hills Rangers 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Huntingdon were the better team in the second half.

Huntingdon's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Forest Hills, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Coming up, Huntingdon will host Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Huntingdon will be up against Richland's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.56 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Forest Hills, they will head out on the road to challenge Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
