Baseball Recap: Mifflin Takes a Loss

Mifflin lost against Amanda-Clearcreek on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Punchers fell 6-3 to the Aces. The Punchers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Benny Villegas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Mifflin now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Mifflin will head out on the road to challenge Franklin Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Punchers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, they will be playing at home against New Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
