Football Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Johnson lost against Liberty County back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Atomsmashers and the Panthers didn't end well, with the Atomsmashers falling 35-20. While losing is never fun, the Atomsmashers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 357th, while the Panthers are ranked 147th).

When it comes to explaining why Johnson lost, don't look at Shamari King. Despite the final result, he rushed for 84 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 153 yards and a pair of TDs. Jamauri Johnson was another key player, picking up 97 receiving yards and one score.

Elijah Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Liberty County, rushing for 220 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Johnson's record is now 2-4. As for Liberty County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
