Basketball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Takes a Loss

Woodcrest Christian played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 69-34 loss at the hands of the Ramona Rams. The contest marked the Royals' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the loss, Woodcrest Christian still got an impressive performance from Michael Carlson, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 10 points and six rebounds.

Ramona got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Green out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards. Green has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Garrett Pickens was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Woodcrest Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Ramona, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Woodcrest Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-57 loss against Citrus Hill on the 28th. As for Ramona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-43 victory against Colton on the 28th.
