Volleyball Recap: Morley Stanwood Comes Up Short

Morley Stanwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Cadillac Vikings. The Mohawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16.

Morley Stanwood's offense was headlined by Alexis Martin and Katelynne Nawrot, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Aivree Christensen and her 14 assists.

Morley Stanwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cadillac, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Morley Stanwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Oscoda on the 29th. As for Cadillac, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Roscommon on the 29th.
