University Prep Value proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (108-93) University Prep Value actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 13-25, 25-22, 14-25, 16-14.

University Prep Value's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Sun Valley Magnet, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-9.

Coming up, University Prep Value will venture away from home to square off against New Designs University Park at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sun Valley Magnet, they will host Grant at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
