Shelby County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Central of Clay County Volunteers on Monday. Considering the Wildcats have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Shelby County has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Central of Clay County, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-14.
