Volleyball Recap: Laurel Falls to Normandy in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Laurel kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Normandy Invaders, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Gators have suffered since September 5, 2024.

Laurel took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-19.

Normandy now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Laurel will square off against Cleveland Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Normandy, they will face off against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
