Softball Recap: Creekside Drops Season-High Score on Atlantic Coast

Creekside and Atlantic Coast squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Creekside had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Stingrays by a score of 19-18. On the bright side, the 18- run performance marked the Knights' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Creekside got a massive performance out of Presley Brinkley, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Hollis, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

With the loss, Creekside broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9. As for Atlantic Coast, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-5.

As of now, neither Creekside nor the Stingrays have any future games scheduled.
